How Can We Help?
Brass
We look at all aspects of a Brass instrument and assess its operational qualities to ensure, after the repair is complete, the instrument is in the best performing condition possible. Our artisans pay attention to details such as piston finishing and tightness, stroke height and piston/port alignment, solder connections, smooth slide operation, tuning, and well refined dent removal techniques. Allegro Band Services offers free estimates and assessments on all repairs.
Woodwind
Our approach to Woodwind repair is comprehensive. We want our musicians to be confident that, from a mechanical stand point, their instrument will be responsive during their performance. Some of the many services performed include tuning, pad leveling and replacement, key cork & tenon cork replacement, spring alignment & tension adjustment, custom body & key fabrications and modifications, crack repair, as well as new instrument setup. As always, we offer free estimates on all repairs.
Percussion
Our shop is equipped to handle all manner of percussion maintenance, repairs and modifications. From a simple head replacement & tune-up, to a complete rebuild & refinsihing.
Due to the variety of percussion instruments and the types of repairs performed, all percussion instrument repairs will be given an estimate prior to beginning the work. As with all of our repairs, estimates on percussion instruments are free.
